I composed my first short story at age nine–and I haven’t stopped writing since.

I love language of course. But I also love telling stories. I love metaphors and the way words and visuals can combine to startle, provoke, move and delight.

My point is that I’ve been lucky enough to find a line of work where ideas, creative problem solving, and visual writing are the principle currency.  And I’ve continued to remain passionate it about it after more than twenty years.

I spent lots of time in agencies as a creative director–building teams, pitching clients and helping create a body of work that won business and recognition.

And now I continue to do what I love with a view of the lake, my dog by my side and a wide array of amazingly creative collaborators near and far.

I work with both agencies and direct clients. I can write copy as an extension of your creative team. Or I can take a large scale, multi-medium campaign from blank page to finished product. Inbound marketing to outdoor advertising, copy to content, four-inch screen to 50-inch screen–I am well versed and diverse in my capabilities.

But first and foremost I am a writer.
